Who is Shoo Fly?

We at Shoo Fly believe that children learn through experience. Where life does not give us that experience we need to learn it from elsewhere. As teachers one of our most important roles is to offer children experiences through which they can learn.

Children need to see themselves as unique individuals who all have something to contribute to the world we share.

In expressing themselves individually through the spoken and written word and the more abstract forms of performance, music and visual art children will learn that there is more than one answer to a problem and more than one path to personal fulfilment.

This website is dedicated to sharing ways of working that will encourage both teachers and children to be themselves and to explore, discover, share and create.

As a company we are committed to raising awareness of the global issues of conservation environment and fair trade.

We aim to be an ethically responsible company using recycled and recyclable materials where possible.

We believe all children have the right of access to education and actively support charitable organisations who share our aims.
